Success Leads To Breakup Of Online Preppy Supergroup

After more than a month without a new post on the Spinsanity web site, it was discovered that the founding editors have gone their separate ways like dust scattered in the wind.

Ben Fritz was found inside his Hollywood recording studio. laying down tracks for his upcoming rap solo album, "Imminent Threat."

"I just felt constrained by the medium, you know? Now I can spread my wings," said Fritz.   "Check out these lyrics, I just nailed them this morning:  'Y'all are up in my ass but you don't know shit, on Amazon's rankings I hit number six.'"

Bryan Keefer allowed only a brief interview while in his roomy New York apartment with a lady friend.  "Man, it's all the same after a while," said Keefer, nervously fingering his satin robe.  "I mean, in a few minutes I could be like a Democrat and snort coke off this hooker's stomach, or be like a Republican and sprinkle it all over her ass.  What's the difference?"

Is the US stingy? Recently a UN official accuses wealthy nations (read: US) of being stingy and contributing a paltry 0.1% to 0.2% of GDP to international aid. In response to the recent tragedy in Asia, the Bush admin offered a miniscule $15 million (I think there was more than that slated for the methane powered Cow Girl Hall of Fame in the latest omnibus budget). An initial offer of $15 million with promise of more later, it had the feel of an opening offer by a cunning bargainer. Sure the comment was retracted, and the Bush Admin. had their rebuttal, but I think Bush missed a valuable opportunity to stand up for his principals, and inspire a great deal of aid for the victims. I wish Bush would have stood up and said: ‘That’s not the way we do things in America, don’t look for our contribution to international aid to come from the IRS. The American people are compassionate, and they do not need their contribution to be taxed from them by force and divvied up by a slow costly federal bureaucracy." I think it is a Conservative goal, and a personal goal of mine as well, for aid contributions to come entirely from the heart, given freely by caring people instead of taxed away from people. Now is an opportunity to make it work. I can’t seem to even wrap my mind around the extent of the devastation. The only insurance most of the victims have is the goodwill of humankind. Let’s show the world and ourselves that we don’t need the taxman to reach in our pocket and be our compassion. I encourage everyone to inconvenience themselves just a little even and find a way to help. I got some money for Christmas this year, and I decided to donate it and help, it didn’t hurt a bit. I donated to UNICEF (www.unicef.org) because there you can donate specifically to the Asia disaster. Liberals, put just a little where your bleeding heart is. Conservatives, show that tax based charity is irrelevant and unnecessary. Do what you can to help, if all Americans give a dollar that would be almost $300,000,000 (that’s less than we spend per day in Iraq). It doesn’t have to hurt. Please help.

White House Launches New Abstinence Only Program To Combat Computer Viruses

12/13/04--Washington DC Now that Bush has been reelected, he has begun rolling out his latest agenda pieces for the next four years. One interesting initiative announced today is a federally funded internet abstinence education plan, and a subsequent ban on federal dollars going to computer training that even mentions computer virus scans, pop up blockers, firewalls, or strategies to “Surf Safe”. Bush chose internet abstinence activist Prudence Haggard to head up this new initiative.

“I am thrilled to be chosen for this position, and for this chance to tell America that there is no such thing as ‘safe surfing’, the only guaranteed method of preventing computer viruses is not to surf the internet at all,” said Haggard.

Critics say that it is ridiculous to ask Americans to give up the internet entirely, and that teaching users how to utilize virus scan programs and firewalls is the best way to prevent the spread of computer viruses. Haggard claims that by telling Americans how harmful viruses are, and how easily computers are infected, but not telling them how to prevent viruses, we will work steadily towards a day when no American attempts to access the internet, and thus, there will be no computer viruses.
